For those of you looking for a great movie to watch, with local flavor, rent this one! You will not be disappointed. Based in Boston, the part of Helene McCready is spot on by actress Amy Ryan who earned herself an Academy Award nomination for the role. Without giving the movie away I will just say that the scene with her in the backseat of the car is priceless! On a more serious note, the moral dilemma in the end is still making me ask the question, what would I have done?Enjoy and let me know what you think.

I'm torn, probably because I was a law major. I would like to see Helene get busted for drugs; Morgan Freeman sent away for being crooked and feeling he could just kidnap innocent children and Amber would have lived happily ever after with her Aunt Bea.
I thought about Aunt Bea too....why didn't she do more to get custody of Amanda before all of this happened? Like when the uncle said that Helene left her in the car at the beach for 2 hours or how Helene would drag Amanda into the bar.....why didn't Bea do something then? It is all messed up.

I did get my tatoo! Jay was awesome, he designed what I was looking for and the colors came out great! I am waiting for the redness to go away and then I'll post a picture! Let me tell you, it HURT! I so LOVE IT though!
