Tom Petty Rocks the Garden

Last night officially kicked off my concert season....

I went to my 4th Petty concert last night with Bil after I endured a horrible Friday the 13th! Tom did not disappoint, this was by far the best concert of his I've seen! I had a smile from ear to ear from start to finish. Tom came out in his signature velvet....a purple jacket and kicked ass on You Wreck Me. He played all my favs, Free Fallin, Saving Grace, The Waiting, American Girl, Learning to Fly, Last Dance with Mary Jane...

He even jammed to 2 songs with opener Steve Winwood (see video below) which was cool, played a Traveling Willburys blast from the past and a 10 year old song only released in Germany called Sweet William; ironic!



We had GREAT seats, I didn't get stuck next to the usual obnoxious man and met up with friends after at Boston Beer Works for a blueberry!








Ah.....good times!
