Reconnecting

About two months or so ago I received a MySpace friend request from a kid I graduated high school with. I figured what the heck and accepted. I then received a bulletin about a new website dedicated to the AHS Class of 1988. I made another decision to login and there staring me in the face was my Senior class portrait!

Holy smokes, a blast from the past. The website was started to try and get everyone notified about our 20 year class reunion this November. At first I was apprehensive to putting my profile up and loading recent pictures, as I was with MySpace! Eek! It took me about a month but I finally caved. I have since been communicating with my old friends I haven't seen or heard from in 20 years. It is actually becoming quite fun. There is a photo gallery section where our classmates have loaded yearbook pictures, pics from the 5 year reunion and then some miscellaneous pictures.

When I saw this one I almost fell off the stool in my kitchen. Yeah, that's me with the big puuurm! Love the pegged pants! Can you stand it....I didn't have 3 chins! Who was telling me back then that I was overweight? (Thanks, Mom and Dad!) I'd give anything to fit into my letterman jacket today!

Needless to say, I won't tell you my thoughts when I saw the picture of my ex with his ex girlfriend at our Junior Prom! I then almost vomitted when I saw the picture of me and my ex at the Senior class breakfast! I will not be posting those to this happy blog! Ha!

So I am undecided about attending my reunion. Yes, my newest attempt to lose weight has begun! It might be nice to start blogging about that.....some incentive. I'll keep you "posted". LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
