A Wonderful Organization

I'm giving a big shout out to the shelter we rescued Murphy from. I've been giving some thought to this post after my wonderful sister-in-law recently talked about getting a new puppy.

Animal Shelter, Inc. of Sterling, MA rescues puppies from all over. Murphy and her brothers and sisters were rescued from the side of a highway in West Virginia. The website constantly updates their photos of available puppies and they also have new arrivals every week.


Besides wanting to rescue a puppy, the reason we choose Sterling is because although we did have to fill out an application and prove we either owned our own home or our landlord approved of pets, we didn't have to go through a home visit, personal interview or have our credit checked like many of the area shelters! Plus, after visiting the shelter we knew the volunteers took care of the puppies and made us feel welcomed and it was clean!


The Shelter is located approximately 1 hour from Attleboro, MA and is close to Davis Farmland.
